Overview

The TAG Heuer Monaco needs no introduction in serious watch collecting circles. Launched in 1969, the Monaco's square case was a technical and aesthetic statement that defined an era. Steve McQueen wore the original on his wrist and on screen in Le Mans, and that association has never faded. This example, reference CW2111.BA0780, is the modern Calibre 17 automatic chronograph variant in 38mm stainless steel, carrying the traditional Monaco layout: black multi-register dial, date at 6 o'clock, and the TAG Heuer shield at 12.


The dial presents cleanly across all registers and the Monaco text and TAG Heuer shield at 12 o'clock remain crisp and legible. The luminous baton hour markers are intact and the applied indices are fully present. The square stainless steel case and bracelet carry light service marks consistent with regular wear, which is how Monaco owners typically live with their pieces. The crown and chronograph pushers are correctly positioned and appear functionally sound. The original TAG Heuer presentation box is included.

The original presentation box shows light surface wear consistent with storage and use. This is a wearing piece from an iconic reference, priced accordingly.
