This fully restored 1977 Ford Falcon XC Coupe is a striking and meticulously finished example of Australian muscle car heritage. With just 48,482 kilometres indicated, it was voted Best XC Coupe at the 2025 Hardtop Anniversary—a testament to the quality of its restoration and presence.
Under the bonnet is a non-original but well-built 351 V8 featuring 302 rods, flat-top pistons, a mild cam, and 2V open chamber heads. It’s paired with an FMX automatic transmission and a 9-inch diff running 2.75 ratio gears and four-wheel disc brakes. A factory dual exhaust system provides the right soundtrack.
This coupe also retains factory air conditioning with a Natrad-rebuilt system and updated Sanden compressor, requiring only a gas recharge to function. It sits proudly on a set of period-correct B45 Simmons wheels, enhancing its aggressive stance and street appeal.
Inside, the glovebox houses a discreetly fitted 7-inch entertainment display, with upgraded 6x9 speakers in the parcel shelf and 5x6s in the kick panels for enhanced audio.
