Ford Falcon BF Mk II XR8 Model History
The BF Mk II Falcon XR8 represented the final evolution of Ford Australia’s locally built Boss 260 V8–powered performance sedans and wagons. Launched in 2006, the Mk II update brought refined styling, revised suspension tuning and improved build quality. While factory-supercharged variants did not arrive until later FPV models, the XR8 has long been a favourite platform for enthusiasts due to its robust V8 architecture and strong aftermarket support.
