Description
The W123 coupe is the car that Mercedes-Benz got right in every proportion. Only a fraction of W123 production was allocated to coupes, and the 280CE with its DOHC M110 six-cylinder and Bosch K-Jetronic injection sits at the top of the range. The Copper Metallic paint is a colour you do not see often, and it still carries genuine gloss across the bonnet, doors, and boot lid. Panel gaps are consistent and the body appears straight with no obvious dent damage. The full-length chrome body-side moulding runs intact on both flanks. Under the bonnet, the M110 inline-six presents in original, unrestored condition with blue silicone plug leads as the only visible aftermarket addition. The inner guards appear clean.
