Description / Overview:
Morris Minor panel vans are among the most sought-after variants in the Minor family, and they turn up less frequently than the saloons. This one has been presented in a British Railways livery, complete with the gold lion-on-wheel heraldic decals on the cargo panels. It is a thematic presentation and not the van's original livery, but it is well-executed and gives the car real show-day presence. The bodywork is straight and the maroon paint has a clean gloss finish throughout.
This van was assembled from CKD components at the Nuffield Australia plant in Zetland, Sydney, which is confirmed by the original Nuffield Australia identification plate still mounted in the engine bay. Original factory colour was Coronation Blue, and the car has been resprayed in maroon at some point. The rear doors have been fitted with windows, which is a popular owner modification but not original specification. The A-series engine is in situ and the car has a modern battery. The cargo floor is plywood over metal, and the condition of the metal floor beneath should be checked before bidding at any serious level. No underside photos have been provided.
