Overview

A matching pair of three-carat-total-weight princess cut diamond studs in 14K white gold. The square princess cut is a classic choice for stud earrings, with its clean geometry and characteristic cross-pattern scintillation. Both stones are well-matched in colour at H grade and present consistently across the pair. The settings are four-claw basket style - the standard construction for princess cuts, with prongs protecting each corner of the square outline.



From the photos, both stones are present and secure with all prongs intact. The face-up images show inclusions consistent with the SI2-I1 clarity range - these are visible to the naked eye under normal viewing conditions. The stones measure 6.0 x 6.0mm each per independent appraisal, which for their approximately 1.5ct individual weights indicates deep-cut proportions. This means the face-up visual diameter is somewhat smaller than ideally-proportioned 1.5ct princess cuts, which would typically spread to approximately 6.5-7.0mm. The weight is present but concentrated in depth rather than spread. The white gold is in good condition with no wear visible, and the post stamps read "585 D3.03ct" confirming 14-karat gold and total carat weight.
