Overview

Art Deco jewellery drew on geometry, symmetry, and the contrast of coloured stones with white diamonds - and this ring captures each of those principles faithfully. The 1.96ct emerald-cut aquamarine sits at the centre in a four-claw setting with millegrain-beaded borders framing the head. Six baguette diamonds are channel-set at the cardinal points of the head, their clean rectangular forms entirely at home in the geometric Art Deco language. Forty-eight round brilliant diamonds continue down the shoulders of the band, adding sparkle that carries the eye from stone to shank. The millegrain beading runs throughout the design's metalwork edges, giving every border a fine, hand-finished texture consistent with period-inspired craftsmanship.



The aquamarine is a medium blue - classic aqua tone, neither too pale nor too deeply saturated. The emerald cut showcases the colour well with crisp step-faceting. Moderate-heavy inclusions are present, visible through the back of the stone under examination, though the face-up presentation is attractive and the colour reads well. From the photos, the ring is in new, unworn condition. The 585 hallmark is clearly stamped on the inner shank. An independent insurance valuation (Karma Gems, February 2026) assessed replacement value at AUD $19,900.
