Overview

Santa Maria Blue is one of the most sought-after colour designations in aquamarine, describing a vivid, saturated medium blue originally associated with the Santa Maria de Itabira mine in Brazil. This bracelet carries five emerald-cut stones of that quality in a station bracelet format: each aquamarine set at even intervals in a four-claw yellow gold setting, separated by sections of round brilliant diamonds. The blue-and-gold combination is warm and classic, the emerald cuts giving each aquamarine clean, transparent presence. Fifty-two diamonds totalling 2.58 carats fill the band between stations, their rhodium-plated settings providing a cool, bright contrast to the warm yellow gold prongs around the aquamarines.



From the photos, the bracelet is in new, unworn condition. The clasp plate is stamped "585 AQ3.38ct D2.58ct" confirming 14-karat gold and matching the stated stone weights precisely. The spring tongue box clasp with double figure-8 safety catches is clearly visible and in proper working order. An independent insurance valuation (Karma Gems, October 2025) assessed replacement value at AUD $43,400.
