Mat: Minor toning and faint vertical mark/crease. Verso backing: Notable water staining (large tide-mark in upper left area of backing board, minor cracking); backing paper aged and worn. The print image itself appears unaffected but buyers should inspect in person.<br>

A graphic coastal screenprint depicting an Australian verandah scene with views to the harbour: two pink-and-white striped deck chairs on a grey porch floor, a white balustrade with green vertical slats, and beyond the railing a deep blue harbour with colourful sailboats (white, red, and multi-coloured sails) and rolling green headlands. Two white verandah posts create a framing "V" toward the water view. The flat, clean graphic style in bold flat colour fields is characteristic of quality Australian screenprint production from the early 1980s. A companion print to the "Mooring," "Rainbows," and "Winning" prints appearing in this auction from the same series. Pencil-inscribed lower left: "54/250"; lower centre: "VERANDAH"; lower right: "Beckmann '84." The Bellerive Gallery label on verso confirms Tasmanian provenance.<br>
