Description
The 1965 Ford Mustang fastback is where the legend started. Ford introduced the fastback body style mid-way through the 1965 model year and the sweeping Kammback roofline, louvred C-pillars, and long bonnet/short tail proportions created an instant classic that collectors still prize above the later iterations. This example is presented in a vibrant orange with white lower body stripes, riding on Magnum 500-style polished alloy wheels with Goodyear white letter tyres, and looks sharp from every angle. The 5-speed manual conversion transforms it into a genuinely enjoyable driver on modern roads.
The orange exterior presents with strong overall gloss. White double body stripes run along the lower body line. The chrome bumpers, front grille surround, Pony badge, and rear trim are all in presentable condition. The rear quarter louvres and rear glass surround chrome are clean. A crease is present in the right rear lower quarter panel near the taillight, which is visible in photos. The interior has been trimmed in black vinyl bucket seats front and rear, presented in good condition.
