This is a genuine piece of Australian automotive history. The compliance plate on this car reads September 2016, placing it among the very last Falcons to leave the Broadmeadows production line before Ford Australia ended local manufacturing in October 2016. More than that, the provenance documentation supplied with the car includes a signed letter from Eclipse Ford Ballarat's Dealer Principal, Neil Doolan, dated 13th October 2016, confirming this vehicle was built on 23rd September 2016 and represents the last G6E Turbo variant ever produced. Ford Australia itself confirmed this to the selling dealer. That provenance is here, in hand, with the car.
The odometer shows 368 kilometres. That is not a typo. The Ford Vehicle Report Card photographed with the car shows 332km at the time of the delivery inspection in October 2017, and the current reading has barely moved since.
