A stylized bird or rooster in the upper left adds a further figurative dimension, while the familiar domed architecture with Middle Eastern/Byzantine arches and staircases fills the surrounding space. The palette here is notably warm, with reds and pinks playing a more prominent role than in the cooler-toned architectural works.
