The Z32-generation Nissan 300ZX was a serious step forward when Nissan launched it in 1989. Long, low, aerodynamically clean, and built around a sophisticated multi-link rear suspension, it was one of the most technically advanced Japanese sports cars of its era. This is the naturally aspirated 2+2 variant, KRGZ32 specification, and it carries something increasingly valuable in today's collector market: genuine Australian provenance. This car was sold new through an Australian Nissan dealership, complied from new rather than imported after the fact. The compliance plate in the engine bay confirms NISSAN MOTOR CO (AUST) PTY LTD approval, dated 9/91. The factory build plate reads BUILT AUG 1991. VIN sequence number 996 places this among the earliest Australian-delivered Z32 examples in the production run.
The VG30DE 3.0-litre naturally aspirated V6 is complete and in place, wearing its original cam cover. Vendor advises the engine has been reconditioned and a receipt is available for the work. A new clutch and clutch master cylinder have been recently fitted, giving the next owner a solid mechanical foundation. The 5-speed RS5R30A manual gearbox shifts cleanly through all gates.
