<b>Description</b><br>
Another densely realised architectural fantasy in blue ballpoint pen. This composition is dominated by sweeping curved arches and viaducts in the upper portion, large Byzantine and Ottoman-influenced domes, spiraling staircases and ramps, minarets, and ornamental crenellations and scalloped edges. Small human figures on a bridge in the middle section give a sense of the vast scale of the imagined city. The entire sheet is filled to the edges in the horror vacui tradition.<br><br>
The draftsmanship is consistent with the other ballpoint pen works in the ISHISHI collection (Lots 307-309) and achieves remarkable tonal range through hatching technique. The ink is crisp and unfaded. Some edge irregularity is visible at the upper left corner. Signed "ISHISHI" in blue ballpoint at lower right. Verso bears "© 2026" copyright notation.<br><br>
