Description
The Holden VR Statesman was the long-wheelbase luxury flagship of the early 1990s Holden range, a full-size four-door sedan that put Australian luxury motoring on par with imported alternatives at a fraction of the price. This example is powered by the LG2 3.8-litre naturally aspirated V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and confirmed on the build plate (Paint B093, Eng LG2, Trans M30, Built AUG94). At 115,888km it has been used but not flogged.
The Bermuda Blue metallic exterior is straight and solid across the door panels, guards and boot lid. The bonnet clearcoat has failed and presents as heavily oxidised and chalky. This is the car's main cosmetic issue and it is visible in the photos. Buyers who understand that bonnet resprays are a straightforward fix will recognise this car for what it is underneath. The remaining body panels are presentable and the chrome side strip and bumpers are in reasonable shape.
