IT CONSISTS OF TWO FOLDED GLASS BLOCKS THAT FORM A CUBE AROUND A CENTRAL LUMINOUS SPHERE, OFTEN UTILISING A METAL BASE FOR THE BULB. FIDENZA VETRARIA (FI.VE) WAS A HIGHLY PROMINENT ITALIAN GLASSWARE MANUFACTURER BASED IN FIDENZA, NEAR PARMA, ITALY. ESTABLISHED IN 1927, THE COMPANY CARVED OUT A DISTINCT LEGACY PRODUCING EVERYTHING FROM EVERYDAY MID-CENTURY KITCHEN TABLEWARE TO UPSCALE DESIGNER LIGHTING AND ART GLASS.
